What is Hypopressive breathing?

Hypopressive breathing is a breathing technique that reflexively activates the deepest core muscles. The technique is based on what is known in yoga as Uddiyana Bandha.

The technique instructs a deeper core muscles engagement and control.

It is known for the big success with postpartum and pelvic floor disorder among women, but not only.

Personally I find it as a perfect practice to surf- the connection between the breathing control and deep core engagement which takes a big part in surfing technique too.


The method is beneficial to everybody!

Benefits:

• Helps to prevent back pain.

• Decrease abdominal cavity pressure and bloating.

• Improve circulation.

• Helps to shrink waistline (no crunches needed).
